Papier Recycling – Eine Frage (nach) der Qualität
Der Film von Gugler „so würde die Natur drucken“ ist schon seit 2012 auf YouTube zu finden und spricht deutlich an, dass der „Recycling Gedanke“ bei dem Input beginnen muss, will man hochwertiges Recycling erreichen.
In dem folgenden Artikel Material Cycles and Chemicals: Dynamic Material Flow Analysis of Contaminants in Paper Recycling
von Kostyantyn Pivnenko,*,† David Laner,‡ and Thomas F. Astrup†(Environ. Sci. Technol., 2016, 50 (22)) werden folgende Chemikalien:
- bisphenol A (BPA),
- diethylhexyl phthalate (DEHP)
- mineral oil hydrocarbons (MOHs)
im Papierrecyclingstrom analysiert und sie kommen zu folgendem Ergebnis:
„The results clearly indicate that mass-based recycling targets are not sufficient to ensure high quality material recycling“
und
„However, material recycling policies should not only reflect the mass of materials collected for recycling, but also, to improve the quality of the secondary products, combine recycling initiatives with technological development and strategies for contaminant removal from the material cycles.“
